The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever is a breed of dog which originates from the province of Nova Scotia in the northern country of Canada. It is a high-spirited dog, which is known for it's lively temperament. These Retrievers are very friendly, and highly intelligent. They have no problem getting along well with children, and any household pets, including other dogs, The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever is eager to work for it's master, so training is usually not too difficult. It's high intelligence level allows it to learn quickly. These dogs need a lot of exercise, which is easy to provide as swimming and retrieving are its all time favorite activities.
The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever is a medium sized dog, with a shoulder height of anywhere from 17.75 inches - 20 inches (45 cm - 51 cm). Their coat consists of hair which is medium in length, and an undercoat which is somewhat softer. Colors are usually reddish-orange, although typically there is a bold blaze with white markings on the chest, tip of the tail, and on the feet. Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers require a regular grooming schedule with a brush.
